This internship experience is designed for undergraduate Business and Management students who are eager to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world organizational setting. Over the course of 80 hours, learners will immerse themselves in a company of their choice, engaging in projects that enhance their understanding of business operations and management strategies. Students will focus on achieving specific learning outcomes and producing tangible deliverables that demonstrate their ability to integrate academic concepts with practical applications.

At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate the application and integration of academic concepts from their academic program to internship project(s) and work assignments.
  2. Exhibit reflective learning about their personal learning and growth resulting from the internship experience. 
  3. Learn and perform contextual skills, as required by the internship learning objectives.
  4. Articulate social-emotional learning and growth resulting from work-based interaction with their site supervisor, colleagues, fellow students and internship faculty
  5. Demonstrate effective professional skills in project management, meeting deadlines, working independently, flexibility, and completing professional work products. 
  6. Meet or exceed the expectations of their site supervisor for job knowledge, quality of work, managing interpersonal relationships, initiative and personal presentation (in person, online or both).
