Community Gaps and Partnership Scan

The goal of this project is to support New West Family Place’s strategic growth and equity initiatives by conducting a comprehensive community service gap scan and partnership landscape review focused on early childhood and parenting programs across Metro Vancouver. The student will identify and assess existing parenting programs, assess their cultural responsiveness and alignment with strengths-based approaches, and map current service coverage. Through a comparative analysis and gap identification process, the student will generate actionable insights and recommendations for potential new program areas and community partnerships. The project aims to strengthen New West Family Place’s ability to serve underserved families, increase program inclusivity, and strategically expand its partnerships to better support the diverse needs of families with young children.
